The New Zealand men's hockey team beat Germany 4-1 in Pakistan overnight (NZ time) in a practice match as they build up to the Champions Trophy starting this weekend.
Goalscorers for New Zealand were Lloyd Stephenson, Mitesh Patel, Garth Brooks and Ryan Archibald.
New Zealand open their account in the Champions Trophy tournament in Lahore on Saturday against the Netherlands, the first of their five pool matches.
