NEW ZEALAND 2 GREAT BRITAIN 1
The New Zealand men's team has scored a 2-1 win in the first of five tests against Great Britain.
Darren Smith broke the deadlock midway through the first half to give the home side a one-nil lead at the break.
England equalised early in the second half, but the kiwis introduced their lethal weapon Hayden Shaw who scored in the second spell through his famous drag and flick.
Not such a good result for the New Zealand women's side. The Black Sticks went down 6-nil to Argentina.
All four teams are back in action on Sunday.
