Hockey: New Zealand beat Canada in 1st test

Hayden Shaw scored three goals as the New Zealand men's hockey team beat Canada 4-1 in Palmerston North this afternoon.

Canada were ranked 17th in the world going into the first game of the five-match test, nine places behind New Zealand.
