There is one new face in the New Zealand Men's Hockey team for the Sultan Azlan Shah Tournament in Malaysia this month.
Wellington defender Scott Falconer has been selected, while the side also features the return of midfielder Mitesh Patel, wing half Hugh Copland and defender Richard Petherick.
Striker Phil Burrows is being rested as a precaution because of a groin strain and a compound fracture in his hand, while Bryce Collins is also recovering from a groin injury.
Collins is instead travelling with the team as the video operator.
Midfielder Wayne McIndoe is unavailable because of work commitments.
