The Black Sticks men will open their 2016 campaign against Malaysia and Korea on home turf in Tauranga and Auckland next month.
The Kiwis host Malaysia in a four-test series at Blake Park in Tauranga (March 6-10) before heading north for a further four games against Korea at Lloyd Elsmore Park in Auckland (March 16-20).
It's the first international action for the Black Sticks men since the Oceania Cup in October, where they finished runners up behind Australia.
The series serves as important preparation for April's Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia, which New Zealand head into as defending champions and on the hunt for back to back titles.
The Black Sticks team to compete against Malaysia and Korea will be named later this month.
