The New Zealand women's hockey team beat India 2-0 in their final match in a quadrangular tournament in Hong Kong overnight.
Jaimee Claxton scored in the first half with a field goal, and later Honor Dillon touched from a penalty corner a shot from Lizzie Igasan.
Team manager Debbie Balme said it was a good way to finish the tour.
"It gives the girls a bit of a buzz as they head on to Australia for the Oceana Cup."
The team has continued to improve since they arrived in Hong Kong. On Tuesday night they lost 6-0 to Korea in their opening match, but then improved to a 5-2 loss to China on Wednesday.
"The game on Wednesday was an improvement on Tuesday's and then they've continued that on today," Balme said.
The team will arrive in Australia tomorrow (SUN) and have a week's training in Brisbane before heading up the coast to Buderim for the Oceania Cup tournament starting on September 11.
