New Zealand have been beaten 4-0 by the Dutch in their final round-robin match at the Rabo Trophy women's hockey tournament in the Netherlands.
In temperatures of 37C in the city of Valkesnwaard, the Black Sticks held the world No 1 ranked team to a score of 1-0 at halftime. They fought off eight penalty corners and goalkeeper Bianca Russell made some outstanding saves to keep the Dutch in check.
In the other game of the day, Argentina beat China 4-1 to set up a meeting with the Dutch in the final.
