New Zealand wrapped up the women's hockey test series against the United States with a 2-0 win in the third test in Napier last night.
First-half goals from captain Suzie Muirhead and Jaimee Provan in wet conditions ensured the hosts clinched the series 3-0 with two matches to spare.
The Black Sticks missed several chances in the second half.
