New Zealand's preparation for the women's hockey World Cup in Argentina has been hit by illness to three key players.
Auckland striker Krystal Forgesson, Midlands midfielder Gemma Flynn and Central defender Emily Naylor are playing limited roles in warmup matches in Rosario after picking up viral infections.
They felt unwell during the warmup match against Korea and took a minor part in yesterday's match against Spain. Both games were drawn 1-1.
