KEY POINTS:
New Zealand made too many errors and went down 0-1 to Britain in a men's hockey match in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, this morning.
It was the fourth defeat of their pre-Olympics European tour, having earlier been beaten by Germany, twice, then Spain.
Both sides struggled to generate many clear scoring chances but Britain had the better of the early exchanges and dominated territory and possession.
They scored when James Tindall beat two defenders, popped the ball over the stick of a third and volleyed the ball into the net for a well-taken individual goal.
New Zealand played with more purpose in the second half and created two or three half chances.
They were also unable to convert five penalty corners.
New Zealand end their tour with matches against Canada and Belgium in Nijmegen over the weekend.
