Hockey: Black Sticks beaten again

The Black Sticks women's hockey team has slumped to its third loss in four games at the Champions Trophy in the Netherlands.

New Zealand has been beaten by Olympic champions Germany 3-nil, conceding goals in the 16th, 44th and 69th minutes.

The Black Sticks have yet to score a single goal in the tournament.

Regardless of the result against China tomorrow night, New Zealand will play off for 5th and sixth against Australia, who have been beaten 3-2 by Argentina this morning.
