The New Zealand women's hockey team has scored a 2-1 win over the United States in the second test in Stratford.
The sides were level 1-1 at halftime before the Black Sticks scored the winner through Sophie Cocks from a penalty corner in the fourth quarter.
Anita Punt scored the first goal, also through a penalty corner.It means the Black Sticks lead the series 1-0 with game three in Palmerston North on Tuesday.
