Australia have beaten Great Britain 4-1 in the Owen G Glenn Champions Trophy hockey tournament in Auckland.
It was a comfortable victory in the end for the defending champions, who led 2-0 at halftime thanks to goals from Matthew Butturini and Matt Gohdes.
Great Britain responded in the second half through Simon Mantell, whose shot from 20m found the net, but the Australians quickly struck back through Jamie Dwyer and Luke Doerner, who scored from a penalty corner.
The victory makes it two from two for Australia, who beat Spain 3-2 in a tight encounter on Saturday. They next play Pakistan tomorrow, while Great Britain face Spain. The play-offs begin on Thursday.
