Hockey: Australia beat NZ to gain Olympics berth

Australia ensured their place at next year's Olympic Games when they beat New Zealand 4-3 in the second of three Oceania qualifying men's hockey tests today in Wellington.

Australia clinched the series with a match to spare, having won the first test 4-3 in Christchurch on Wednesday.

The third and final test will be in Wellington tomorrow.
