It's very difficult - because we do it twice, sometimes three times, every year - to find something new to say about an All Blacks v Wallabies test match.
This week we've been through the usual rubbish; Aussies accusing Richie McCaw of all sorts, another coach who won't say "All Blacks", silly comments from the "lucky country" about All Black chokers, and so on and on and on.
It's all a bit tiresome really and most of the drivel comes from the other side of the Tasman where they, rightfully, have a dreadful inferiority complex when it comes to the All Blacks. Understandable isn't it - 42 wins in 154 tests - an appalling record and one that the great Okkers really struggle with. Suck it up because it could get worse.
When it really matters in tests against Australia, the All Blacks win. The fact that the Bledisloe Cup has sat at Rugby Headquarters in Wellington for over a decade is proof positive of that comment with the Wallabies still looking, as they have since 2003, to land the killer blow which would take the coveted trophy back to Australia.
Sure, there are a few wins and draws here and there, but when it really matters, who wins? You know the answer and where is the evidence, despite all the bluster from the western side of the Tasman, to suggest otherwise?
A win at Twickenham in the World Cup final, another at the Gabba in the first cricket test - it wouldn't get any better than that.
