Tommy Fleetwood and Francesco Molinari wake up with the Ryder Cup in hilarious clip

They were the hottest partnership at the Ryder Cup and now 'Moliwood' - Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood - have been filmed waking up together with the trophy between them.

The Englishman and his Italian partner were two of the star men for Thomas Bjorn's side, winning all four of their points as a duo before Molinari went on to win his singles match to complete a clean sweep.

After a wild night of celebrations following their success at Le Golf National on Sunday, Molinari and Fleetwood were filmed in a hilarious clip as they lay in bed.

The video begins with Molinari opening his eyes and realising his partner is laying across from him. He then taps Fleetwood who slowly begins to come round.

Fleetwood opens his eyes and says: 'how good was that for you?' to which Molinari replies 'four out of four'.

The Englishman then replies: 'I'd give you five out of five, Frankie.'

Fleetwood later retweeted the video with the caption: 'Missing him already!!'

Moliwood began their exceptional weekend with a 3&1 victory over Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed in Friday morning's fourballs.

Then came a sensational 5&4 win over Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth in the foursomes on the opening day before they combined once again to register a 4&3 victory against Woods and Reed again on Saturday morning.

Their 100 per cent record as a duo remained intact after they saw off Woods and Bryson DeChambeau 5&4 on Saturday afternoon. Fleetwood lost his 100 per cent record on Sunday though, losing 6&4 to Tony Finau in his singles match.

Molinari, however, became the first European ever to win five points in a single Ryder Cup when he dispatched Phil Mickelson 4&2 to confirm victory for the hosts.

Fleetwood's wife Clare jokingly admitted her concern at her husband's partnership with Molinari when she replied to his tweet on Monday morning asking: 'So, how was everybody's weekend?'

She said: 'Well I actually caught my husband in bed with another man and he wants Italian lessons, our son is also named after him. Do I need to worry?'.
