Na approached Tiger asking him to autograph a hat for his good friend Young Nam - whom Woods knew from junior golf. According to Shipnuck, Nam is reportedly a regular in the Korean tabloids due to his romantic liaisons with a famous actress and a former Miss Korea (a lifestyle Woods would no doubt approve of).
"Is Nam still getting a lot of a**?" Na recalls Woods asking.
Na said the hat was actually for Nam's girlfriend, a response that was enough to convince the former world No. 1 to whip out a pen and sign away.
"If it will help him get laid, I'll do it," Woods said.
The pair reportedly broke out in fits of laughter as the surrounding fans watched on in blissful ignorance.
The interview also revealed how Na copped a classic put-down from Kiwi caddie Steve Williams.
Williams, who became a celebrity caddie during his time with Tiger Woods, was unhappy with the poor and slow golf during the 2014 Deutsche Bank Championship, when Kevin Na was in a playing group including Williams' boss Adam Scott.
The Sports Illustrated piece described Na's version of the confrontation with Williams.
"In the scoring tent as I was about to leave, Stevie looks at me and goes, 'Do you ever watch a bad movie again and again?'" Na said.
"I didn't really know what he was talking about, so I just said, 'Uh, no'. He goes, 'That's what you are, Kevin, a bad movie. I never want to see you play again'.
"And I looked at him, and I said, 'Stevie, you're out of line. If Adam has a problem with my play, he has every right to say whatever he wants. You're in no position to tell me what you just said to me'.
"He got real close to me and was saying basically that he could say whatever he wanted. It was getting pretty heated, but one of the Tour officials stepped in and said, 'Guys, not in here'. And that ended it."
