New Zealander Steve Williams says his former boss Tiger Woods is unlikely to win another major and suggested his latest injury problems might be self inflicted due to training too hard in the gym.
In an interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, caddie Williams, who parted with Woods on bad terms in 2011 and who now works for Australian Adam Scott, said of the American: "I don't doubt he will come back to the winner's circle. He is a great competitor, he has an incredible work ethic - when he can work hard - and one thing he does know how to do is win.
"But whether he comes back and wins major championships? That's going to be a very difficult task."
Williams helped Woods win 13 of his 14 major titles but since his last one, the US Open at Torrey Pines in 2008, he has fallen to 467 in the world and suffered back problems which required surgery. He has also suffered from well publicised personal issues.
Williams, 39, said in December he had "nothing to look forward to".
