Four-time major winner Rory McIlroy aced the par-3 15th hole at Spyglass Hill today, sinking a hole-in-one at the PGA Tour’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The 35-year-old from Northern Ireland used a wedge from 119 yards and rattled the flagstick as his ball plunged directly into the hole.
Third-ranked McIlroy, a back-nine starter, smiled and traded high-fives with his caddie and playing partners after the hole-in-one, which put him briefly in a share of the lead at 3-under par after six holes.
McIlroy was making his US PGA Tour 2025 season debut after opening his global campaign two weeks ago by sharing fourth at Dubai.
The ace was McIlroy’s second career hole-in-one on the PGA Tour after the first came at the eighth hole at TPC River Highlands in the first round of the 2023 Travelers Championship.
