The New Zealand Women's Open will return to the Clearwater Golf Club next February and will once again be a co-sanctioned event on the Ladies European Tour and Australian Ladies Professional Golf Tours.
Scheduled between the prestigious Australian Ladies Masters and Women's Australian Open, the New Zealand Women's Open is assured of securing the best field since the introduction of the tournament in 2009.
The inaugural tournament was staged at Clearwater in 2009 but for the past three years it has been at the Pegasus Golf and Sports Club north of Christchurch.
With a purse of $315,000, it is the most lucrative women's sporting event in the country.
