Lydia Ko will miss the first event of the LPGA Tour season for scheduling reasons.
Ko is skipping the tournament in the Bahamas and will instead start her year the following week in Florida.
The world number one will then head home to defend her title at the New Zealand Open before competing in the Australian Open.
Her coach David Leadbetter said the slight change is not due to illness or injury.
