Lydia Ko has been named among ESPN's top 25 athletes and influencers who have made the greatest impact for women in sport this year.
The teenage golfing star featured alongside the likes of Serena Williams, Ronda Rousey and the US women's football team in ESPN's IMPACT 25 list for 2015. The feature was illustrated by Marvel artists, turning the athletes and sporting influencers into super versions of themselves.
"Amazing? Best? Legendary? Badass? Truth be told, there is no adjective that accurately describes golfer Lydia Ko and her feats in 2015," ESPNW wrote of Ko's second year as a tour pro.
Ko this year became the youngest golfer to win a major championship (the Evian Championship, where her closing round of 63 was the lowest final round in the history of women's majors), and was named the LPGA Player of the Year.
The Kiwi star rounded out her phenomenal season by claiming the LPGA's Road to CME Globe, a season-long contest that comes with a $US1 million prize, for the second straight year.
