Lydia Ko is ten shots off the pace at the LPGA event in Thailand, lying seven under after a four under third round of 68.
Despite carding five birdies in her best round of the tournament, Ko fell ten shots behind South Korea's Amy Yang, who leads after a high level of performance across the opening two rounds.
It has been a mixed tournament for Ko thus far, having scored bogeys in each round to reduce her score one shot at a time.
Yang is being chased down by compatriot So Yeon Ryu and England's Jodi Ewart Shadoff, who were 13-under and 11-under respectively.
Meanwhile, Ryan Fox is five back at the Johannesburg Open on the European Tour, two under through seven holes and six under overall before the heavens opened and reduced the tournament to a 54 hole event to be completed tomorrow.
