Tiger Woods will defend his World Golf Championships Cadillac Championship after overcoming back spasms.
The World No.1 withdrew from the final round of last week's Honda Classic with the back injury and has undergone several days of treatment in order to get ready to defend at Trump National Doral.
Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, told ESPN in the USA on Wednesday morning Woods was on his way to the course and would take part in an afternoon news conference.
A four-time winner on the track before it was renovated for this years instalment, Woods is under pressure to hold the No.1 ranking, with Australian Adam Scott able to take it with victory this week and a poor showing from Woods.
"He wouldn't be coming down here if he didn't intend to compete at the highest level,'' Steinberg said.
