Tiger Woods has missed the halfway cut at the British Golf Open at Turnberry in Scotland.
Woods shot a a four over par 74, leaving him five over for the tournament, one shy of the cut of plus four. It is just the second time the world number one has missed the cut at a major championship.
The four New Zealanders in the tournament have also missed out on playing the final two rounds. Josh Geary was five over, Mark Brown seven over and David Smail nine over the card.
Michael Campbell was 20 over and dead last when he withdrew after 14 holes, citing more shoulder trouble.
