Kiwi golfer Tim Wilkinson continues to move up and down the leaderboard at the weather-affected Honda Classic on the PGA Tour in Florida.
Lightning, high winds and darkness have wreaked havoc at the tournament this week and caused numerous delays. Wilkinson finished his third round today and held a share of 28th before beginning his fourth and final dig but started to slide back down the leaderboard.
The Manawatu left-hander was three-over through 10 holes in his fourth round, which left him in a share of 46th at five-over for the week before darkness fell.
Wilkinson entered the tournament in 165th on the FedEx Cup standings and a steady final few holes would see him jump up a few spots in the standings. Fellow Kiwi Danny Lee missed the cut.
Englishmen Paul Casey and Ian Poulter hold a share of the lead at seven-under. Casey has played nine holes in his final round, while Poulter was through seven before darkness caused play to finish for the day. American Patrick Reed is in third at six-under.
The tournament will finish tomorrow.
