Tim Wilkinson was the big mover of the Kiwi golfers at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on the PGA Tour in California.
The Manawatu left-hander carded a bogey-free four-under 67 at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club today to shoot up to a tie for 37th at six-under for the week.
Hamilton's Steven Alker also picked up some strokes as he fired a three-under 69 at Pebble Beach, which could have been a lot better had he not made bogeys on his final two holes. Alker was in a share of 77th at three-under.
Danny Lee shot an even-par 72 at the Spyglass Hill Golf Course, which left him in a share of 109th at one-under. American Brandt Snedeker holds a share of the lead alongside Australian Matt Jones at 12-under.
The tournament is being played across three courses and has a 54-hole cut where the top-60 plus ties will play the final round.
