Tim Wilkinson is on track for his best PGA Tour finish since 2014 after a strong third round at the Wells Fargo Championship this morning.
Wilkinson fired a two-under par 70 to jump up six places into a share of seventh at five-under for the tournament.
The Kiwi lefty has not recorded a top 20 finish on the Tour for nearly two years, but is in prime position to take home a big payday and valuable FedEx Cup and world ranking points.
Wilkinson carded four birdies and two bogies in his round, which could have been even better if not for a bogey on the par four 16th.
A top ten finish would represent his biggest accomplishments since the 2014 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am (tied 7th), and the 2013 OHL Classic at Mayakoba (tied 10th).
