Kiwi golfer Tim Wilkinson made a big move up the leaderboard on day two of the season-opening PGA Tour event in California.
Wilkinson carded a five-under 67 in the second round of the Frys.com Open to jump more than 100 places from a tie for 154th to a share of 51st at one-under par.
Wilkinson is right on the projected cut-line, but around half of the field, including fellow Kiwi Danny Lee, have yet to finish their rounds.
Steven Alker carded a one-under 71 in his second round to be tied for 93rd at two-over.
Scotland's Martin Laird sits atop the leaderboard at 10-under.
