Kiwi golfers Danny Lee and Tim Wilkinson failed to make up any ground during the final round of the Crowne Plaza Invitational in Texas on the PGA Tour.
Manawatu's Wilkinson carded a disappointing four-over 74 today as he finished in a share of 51st at even-par, despite being in contention for a top five finish going in to the final day.
Lee, who was steady all week without making a splash, signed for an even-par 70 in his final round as he claimed a share of 38th at two-under.
World No 1 Adam Scott beat Jason Dufner to claim the title on the third sudden-death playoff hole at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth after the pair finished the week at nine-under.
