The US Open beckons for Kiwi golfer Tim Wilkinson.
The left hander has finished outright second at the US Open qualifying event in Florida, with the top four progressing to the Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania next week.
After his round was interrupted by wet weather yesterday, Wilkinson carded a four under par 68 final round to be seven under for the tournament.
He went blemish free through his 10 remaining holes, shooting two birdies.
It will be Wilkinson's first major tournament.
