The British Open is likely to return to St Andrews in 2010, the 150th anniversary of the first golf tournament, Royal and Ancient chief executive Peter Dawson said yesterday.
The Open is due to take place at Hoylake, England, in 2006, Carnoustie, Scotland, in 2007, and Royal Birkdale, England, in 2008.
