New Zealand golfer Danny Lee was solidly placed on two-under after his first round at the Wyndham Championship PGA tournament in North Carolina today.
With half the field back in the clubhouse at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, Lee was in a tie for 28th on 68, four shots behind a trio of early leaders.
Americans Chez Reavie, Brandt Snedeker and Ryan Moore all shot 64.
Lee drove well in a round which featured four birdies and two bogeys but 31 putts was a disappointing statistic.
