New Zealand professional golfer David Smail has slipped back to a share of fourth at the Indonesian Open after a two under par 74 in the third round in Jakarta yesterday.
The Kiwi, who plays on the Japan Golf Tour, is looking for his first win in seven years. He got off to a poor start with a double bogey at the par five first but rallied well to get back to even par only to make a double bogey at the par 3 16th to slip back to two over for the day and to a five under total for the tournament.
Smail is six shots behind Australian Nick Cullen, who fired a five under par 67 on moving day to lead compatriot Stephen Leaney by four shots.
Fellow Kiwi Michael Long had a four under par 68 to climb into a share of 27th place.
