David Smail was the best of the Kiwis at the Indonesian PGA Championship on the OneAsia Tour during the weekend.
The 43-year-old carded a four-under par 68 in the final round at the Damai Indah Golf Club to finish in a share of 13th place in the event that was co-sanctioned with the Japan Golf Tour.
Smail, who has played in Japan for the past 16 seasons, had rounds of 67, 68, 71 and 68 to finish on a 14-under par total, seven shots back from the champion Japan's Michio Matsumara.
The former New Zealand Open champion earned $19,800 for his week in Jakarta.
Michael Hendry, who is playing his second season on the Japan Tour, finished in a share of 29th place while Gareth Paddison faded from his fast start to finish tied for 65th.
