One of the country's top players is frustrated at what seems to be a lack of progress in confirming a New Zealand Golf Open for this year.
New Zealand Golf continues to say its close to locking in a tournament but no details of a date or venue have been confirmed.
Gareth Paddison says the situation is becoming ridiculous.
He says Sir Michael Hill's done so much for the Open so it's hard to understand why the tournament might be moved from The Hills.
Paddison is one of three New Zealanders lining up for one of three spots in this year's British Open, playing in the international final qualifying in Melbourne.
