Golf: Sky to broadcast NZ Open

Sky Television will provide live coverage of the New Zealand Open golf tournament for the first time next year.

Sky Sport has renewed its rights to broadcast the Australasian Golf Tour until the end of 2009 and will present live coverage of the Open.

The tournament has been shifted back to Novemeber due to a change of scheduling.

"The New Zealand Open has been the missing link in our golfing package and this is a great addition to our live coverage of golf," said Sky's director of sport, Kevin Cameron.
