Fiji's Vijay Singh, battling Tiger Woods for the United States PGA money title, fired a three-under 69 for a four-way share of the lead yesterday at the Disney Classic.
Singh strung together three birdies in a row starting at the eighth hole, but played the first seven and last eight at par for an eight-under 198, alongside Americans Stewart Cink, Scott Verplank and John Rollins.
Verplank and Cink each fired 66s, with Rollins carding a 67.
Alone in fifth, two strokes off the pace, was American David Peoples, with compatriots Davis Love and Rocco Mediate sharing sixth place at 201.
Woods, who has a slight lead over Singh in the money chase entering the final three events, fired a 71 to stand on 204. He equalled Byron Nelson's 1940s record of 113 consecutive PGA cuts on Saturday.
