Kiwi golfer Brad Shilton has broken the course record at one of Australia's most prestigious courses.
Shilton's carded a bogey-free eight-under par round of 64 at Huntingdale in Melbourne to lead the Victorian PGA Championship by two shots.
He says he had no idea he was close to the record.
"I can't remember any really low scores around there so it's nice to have hit that number," Shilton says.
Mark Brown is the next best of the Kiwis at four-under in a tie for seventh.
