Six Ryder Cup players, including two from this year's triumphant European side, have entered February's New Zealand Open golf tournament at Gulf Harbour.
Irishman Paul McGinley and Englishman David Howell, who played key roles in Europe's crushing Ryder Cup victory at Oakland Hills, Michigan, in September, will be joined by Italy's Constantino Rocca, Scotland's Andrew Coltart, Sweden's Pierre Fulke and England's Barry Lane.
The $1.5 million Holden-sponsored event, to be co-sanctioned with the European Tour for the first time, will be played from February 10 to 13.
