Kiwi Ryan Fox has fired a final round two-under 68 to finish tied for 27th at the PGA Champioship.
Fox finished the tournament at six-under, 10 shots behind winner Brooks Koepka. It is the Aucklander's best finish at a major after coming in a share of 39th at the Open Championship last month.
It is the third straight major that Fox has finished in the top 50.
Fox had six birdies and four bogeys in his round and earns US$82,000 for his efforts, taking his total prize money earned in 2018 to more than $NZ2.7m.
"I'm definitely happy but a little bit frustrated as well," Fox said admitting he probably should have done better in his third round to be closer to the leaders today.
