Danny Lee is the best placed of the New Zealand golfers after the opening round of the Qatar Masters in Doha.
Lee is tied for 35th after a carding a one-over 73 in the first round to be six shots off the lead held by England's Oliver Wilson and Welshman Bradley Dredge.
Mark Brown is four-over to be in a tie for 86th, while Michael Campbell is a shot further back, tied for 94th in the 125 player field.
A double-bogey on the 18th marred an up and down round for Campbell. Less than a week after revealing he is considering his future in golf, Campbell carded a five-over 77 in the opening round of the European Tour event.
