Putting success will translate to money for young New Zealand golfers at next week's Open at Gulf Harbour.
NZ Golf will donate $20 for each birdie and $40 for every eagle at the Blue Chip-sponsored Open to the Michael Campbell Foundation to help young players.
Last year's Open on the same course produced 1994 birdies and 75 eagles, which equated to about $43,000.
