New Zealand golfer Tim Wilkinson failed to hit a shot after severe winds forced US Tour officials to abandon play early on the opening day of the Houston Open in Texas. An early morning thunderstorm delayed the start of play for 2 hours but play stopped when strong winds began lashing the Redstone course.
