Australian golfer Adam Scott was shut out on the final day as Fred Couples enhanced his reputation as king of the silly season with a record fifth win in the annual Skins Game in California yesterday.
Couples beat Tiger Woods in four playoff holes to claim the final three skins and pocket US$640,000 ($903,062).
The 35-year-old American, took his career earnings in the Skins Game to a record US$3,515,000 from 77 skins in 11 appearances at the four-player event.
Woods finished second with five skins and US$310,000.
