Former Open champion Louis Oosthuizen's unique celebration of his unwelcome 'career Grand Slam' after the weekend's US PGA Championship has proven a hit on social media.
The 34-year-old South African - who won the 2010 Open Championship, was joint runner-up with Francesco Molinari and Patrick Reed at the US PGA Championship at Quail Hollow over the weekend - finishing two shots behind first-time major winner Justin Thomas of America after bogeying the final hole.
This marked Oosthuizen's fourth second-place finish in a major, after also missing out at the Masters in 2012 and the US Open and the Open in 2015.
He joins select company to have achieved a career Slam of 2nd-place finishes - including
former world number one Greg Norman who finished runner-up in majors eight times: three times at the Masters, twice at the US Open, once at The Open, and twice at the PGA.
