LONDON - Michael Campbell is set to renew his rivalry with Tiger Woods after being drawn with the world No 1 for the opening two rounds of PGA Championship in the United States this week.
As is customary, PGA of America officials have grouped the winners of the year's golf majors for the first two days of the season's final major.
Woods won the Masters and British Open titles while Campbell kept Woods at arm's length in June to seal victory in the US Open at Pinehurst and become the first New Zealander since Sir Bob Charles in 1963 to win a major title.
Campbell's grouping with Woods will be the first occasion the pair have played alongside each other since the 2001 Deutsche Bank Championship in the US.
Officials have also decided to group Australian veteran Greg Norman with Woods and Campbell. Vijay Singh, the defending 2004 PGA Championship winner, had been expected to join the pair.
The PGA Championship, which starts on Friday (NZ time), is being held at Springfield, in New Jersey.
