New Zealand golfer Craig Perks has made a strong start to the US PGA Tour's Booz Allen Classic in Maryland.
Perks fired a four under par 67, to be just four shots off the lead.
However, there was not such good news for fellow kiwi Stephen Scahill at the European Tour's Dutch Open in the Netherlands.
Scahill stumbled to an opening round seven over par 77, to be a whopping 11 shots off the pace.
