Shane Lowry and Colin Montgomerie fired record-equalling 62s to lead the way in British Open international final qualifying (Europe) yesterday.
Irish professional Lowry carded his eight-under 62 on the Old Course as he topped two-round qualifying on 11-under 129 at Sunningdale on the outskirts of London.
New Zealand's Mark Brown and Danny Lee both missed out after Brown shot rounds of 70 and 69 and Lee managed 70 and 74.
