Roy Pulman, who was a key figure in the organisation of the rich Air New
Zealand/Shell and New Zealand Open tournaments which attracted some of the world's leading players in the 1970s and 80s, has died in Auckland.
Pulman, a long-time member of The Grange Club in Papatoetoe, played for Auckland in the 1960s and was later president and a life member of the association.
